George orwell
George Orwell was born in 1903, India, under the name of Eric Arthur Blair. In India, his father Richard Blair worked for the British consulate as a civil servant. They eventually moved from India back to England when he was still at a young age and stayed there after his academic career was finished. Similar to a lot of other notable author, Orwell discovered his passion for writing at a very young age but was unable to make a living out of his passion. Orwell then moved back to India and found a secure job in the Indian Imperial Police as an administrator. After few years, he began to notice the lack of justice to colonial rule. He then returned back to England where he got tired from moving job to job and finally decided to be an author professionally. He first made up “George Orwell” as his pen name and begin to write his first piece of novel such as Burmese Days and Out in Paris. His view towards socialism began to solidify after he married a woman named Eileen O’Shaugnessy. He began to fought in wars and experiencing different political events. He served for WWII and short after that he wrote Animal Farm. Unfortunately, he died from tuberculosis in 1950.
